16th Lok Shabha election Analysis with respect to propositional representation(PR) - State : Gujarat

This is the Gujarat verdict, a clean sweep, the Bharatiya Janata Party, BJP 26 out of 26 with 59.05%.

The Indian National Congress, INC, which is voted 32.86% ends with 0 seat! There is no single representative from the congress to represent this 32.86%.

In Gujarat along with 2014 LS polls,  assembly by elections were held in 7 places. Congress won 4 and the BJP secured 3. In the assembly by elections the BJP is voted 46.5% and the Congress is voted 45.3%.

The Indian National Congress, INC, which is voted 32.86% ends with 0 seat! Under proportional representation the BJP would have secured 17 seats and the INC with 9 seats.
